Theft (Florida Statute 812.014) – Knowingly obtaining or using or endeavoring to obtain or use the property of another with the intent to either temporarily or permanently deprive the other person of his or her property.

Grand Theft 3rd Degree Felony – involves property valued between $300 and $5,000

Petit Theft 1st Degree Misdemeanor – involves property valued between $100 and under $300

Petit Theft 2nd Degree Misdemeanor – involves property valued at up to $100
